This Privacy Policy explains how EAlphabits Tech Innovations ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use the Arjun 1.0 mobile application (the "App") together with your paired Arjun 1.0 AI Device (the "AI Device"). Together, the App and the AI Device make up the "Arjun 1.0 service."
This Privacy Policy is written for users and describes only the information practices that apply to the Arjun 1.0 service. It is intended to meet the requirements of the Google Play Store, the Apple App Store, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).
By using the Arjun 1.0 service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Arjun 1.0 is a smart monitoring and AI-based detection service. The App lets you set up and manage your AI Device, view live video from your AI Device, configure detection features, and receive alerts when an event is detected. This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Arjun 1.0 service.
We collect only the information needed to provide the Arjun 1.0 service.
We use the information we collect to:
Legal bases (GDPR). Where GDPR applies, we process your information to provide the service you request, with your consent (for example, optional alert messages, and camera, photo, contacts, and notification permissions), for our legitimate interests (such as security and improving the service), and to comply with legal obligations.
The App lets you manage your AI Device and its AI-based detection features, including crowd and capacity detection, footfall counting, restricted-area monitoring, suspicious-activity alerts, and absence detection. You control which features are enabled and can adjust their settings, including limiting detection to specific times.
When a detection occurs, the AI Device captures a single still image so you can review the event in the App, and you can choose to receive an alert. Live video is shown for viewing and is not continuously stored.
Because the AI Device captures images of physical spaces, you are responsible for ensuring that your use of the AI Device complies with all applicable laws, including any notice and consent requirements for monitoring people and premises.
You can decline or revoke camera, photo, contacts, and notification permissions at any time in your device settings.
Your information is stored securely using trusted service providers (including Google Firebase) and is protected by appropriate technical and organizational measures. Information transmitted between the App and our cloud services is sent over secure, encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections, and access is restricted so that you can only access your own account and the AI Devices paired to it. Some information may also be stored on your phone so the App can function.
To protect against abuse and fraud, the App uses Google Play Integrity (via Firebase App Check) to verify that requests to our backend come from a genuine, unmodified copy of the App. This check does not collect your personal information.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
When you delete your account, we remove your profile and unpair your AI Devices, as described in Section 11.
We rely on trusted third-party service providers — primarily Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Realtime Database, Cloud Messaging, and Cloud Storage) — to support and operate the App, including account sign-in, data storage, and notifications. These providers process information only as needed to perform their services on our behalf and are subject to their own privacy practices. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes.
The Arjun 1.0 service is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 where a higher age applies under local law, such as the GDPR). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the email address in Section 12, and we will take steps to delete it.
Your information may be stored and processed in countries other than the one in which you live, including where our service providers operate. Where required by law, such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. By using the service, you understand that your information may be transferred internationally as described here.
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information: the right to access your information, to correct it, to request its deletion, to restrict or object to certain processing, to receive a copy of your information (data portability), and to withdraw permissions you have granted (such as camera, photo, contacts, or notifications) through your device settings.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request its deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell or "share" your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
EEA/UK residents (GDPR): you may exercise the rights listed above and have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
You can delete your account and associated data at any time, in two ways:
When you delete your account, we remove your profile, unpair your AI Devices, and clear your information from the service. Certain information may be retained for a limited period where required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons.
